Shutters for Ely Property Styles
Ely's housing stock ranges from historic properties near the cathedral to modern estates. Older properties with smaller window openings call for a more considered approach like café-style. Newer developments offer standard window sizes well suited for full-height shutters.

Full Height
Covers the entire window from top to bottom. The most popular choice for modern homes and any window where you want full light control.
Café Style
Covers only the lower half of the window, giving street-level privacy while leaving the top clear for natural light and sky views.
Tier on Tier
Two independent panels stacked vertically — ideal for tall sash windows where you want separate control of top and bottom.
Bay Window
Custom-angled panels built to follow the exact geometry of your bay, giving a seamless symmetrical result.
Solid Panel
Fixed slats rather than adjustable louvres. Maximum privacy and a clean, architectural look — popular for street-facing ground-floor rooms.
Tracked
Panels that slide on a floor-to-ceiling track. The practical solution for patio doors, bi-folds, or very wide openings.

How the Survey and Installation Work
We regularly conduct surveys in Ely and northern Cambridgeshire, making it easy to find a convenient appointment time.
Free Home Survey
We visit at a time that suits you, measure every window precisely, discuss your style preferences, and show you a full set of finish and louvre-size samples in your own light.
Made to Your Exact Measurements
Every frame is manufactured to the dimensions we recorded, not to a standard size. This is how we handle non-square reveals, bay windows, and awkward openings that off-the-shelf products can't accommodate.
Expert Installation
Our own fitters — not subcontractors — carry out every installation. A typical home takes half a day. We leave everything clean and tidy, and show you how to use and care for your shutters before we go.
10-Year Guarantee
Every installation is covered by our comprehensive 10-year guarantee on manufacturing and finish. If anything isn't right, we'll put it right at no cost to you.
Areas Around Ely We Cover
